It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jethro B. Lindsey (Greer, South Carolina), born in Lynn, North Carolina, who passed away on July 11, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Grady and Edith Nula Wolfe Lindsey; his former wife Fannie Mae Lindsey; his son Douglas "Doug" Lindsey; and his siblings, Edith Lindsey Henderson, Carroll Eugene Lindsey, Donald M. Lindsey and Johnny Roland Lindsey (Grady Lindsey).
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pike Lindsey; his son Bobby Ray Lindsey (Rhonda) of Duncan; his stepchildren, Dwayne Wilson (Debbie) of Clear Water, Florida and Deana Meadows (Chuck) of Huntington; and his sisters, Doris Brackett (Roy) of Campobello and Betty Moon (Randy) of Inman. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
