He was predeceased by : his father Johnny Nicholson; and his sister Sandra Wood. He is survived by : his mother Shelby Nicholson Mast; his siblings, Johnny Nicholson (Gail) of Belton, SC, Cynthia Tollision (Tom) and Janice Greenlee (Phillip) of Greenville, SC; and his close friend Melinda Kelterborn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Heart of Worship Church (1400 W Wade Hampton Blvd, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, June 27th 2024 at the Graceland Cemetery West (4814 White Horse Rd, Greenville, SC 29611).
