He is survived by: his wife Dottie Lee Loftis Sloan; his children, Terri Baltz (Duane) of Mauldin, Scott Sloan (Michael Michau) of Myrtle Beach and Steve Sloan (Jennifer Mathews) of Tryon; his brothers, Phillip Sloan (Norma) of Taylors, Mike Sloan (Ann) of Greenville and Ronnie Sloan (Carole) of Travelers Rest; his grandchildren, Dustin Baltz (Laura), Chelsea Baltz, Bryson Baltz (Jessica), Megan Watt (Josh), Max Sloan and Jasper Mathews; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Baylor, Delaney, Bryleigh, Carter, Betsey, Cooper and Avery.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
