He was predeceased by: his spouse Claribel King Ensley; his parents, James Jeffrey and Cora Morrow Ensley; his daughter Linda Price; and his siblings, James "Jimmy" Ensley, Francis Hines and Betty Dean.
He is survived by: his sons, Russell Duane Ensley of Greenville, Greg Thompson (Lorrie) of Piedmont and Lee Thompson of Nacogdoches, Texas. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
