He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett J. DeHart and Elva Hopkins DeHart; and his brother Allen DeHart. He is survived by: his wife Jean Walter DeHart; and his children, Richard Walter DeHart (Cheryl) of Greer and Deborah Lawton (Keith) of Honea Path. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
