He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Bryant Hudson; his parents, William Waddie and Bessie Bishop Hudson; his siblings, Daniel, Herman, Wilburn Hudson, Maude Patterson and Lucy Clayton; his grandson Andy Scruggs; and his great grandchildren, Rayleigh Scruggs and Wyatt Crone.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Scruggs (Ricky) of Smithville, Cindy Marsh of Greer, Kathy Hudson of Inman and Tracy Hudson of Greer; and his siblings, Calvin Hudson of Taylors, Thomas Hudson of Greer and Cecile Fitts of Greer. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; thirty-one great-grandchildren and nine great great-grandchildren.
