It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George A. Howell (Greer, South Carolina), who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Howell and Rilla Howell. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Gosnell Howell; his daughter Rose Linda Carter of Denver; his stepsister Saundra Howell Guerard; his niece Michelle Forrester (Rock) of Greer; his great-niece Amber Tooley of Lyman; his great-nephews, Josh Odom and Hunter Tooley of Greer; his godson Drake Seidl of Greer; his sisters-in-law, Gail Tooley of Lyman, Cathy Cudd and Patricia Gosnell of Greer; his close friend Ruth Ann Seidl of Greer; and his pet Callie. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
