He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Ponder and Marie McCoy Ferguson; his son Bradley Mitchell Ferguson; and his siblings, Milton Ponder Ferguson, Jr., Joe Earl Ferguson and Patsy Ann Ferguson Pepper.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl "Sherrie" Bridges Ferguson; his children, Benjamin Eugene Ferguson (Stella), Regina Ferguson Burrell (Chris) and Kelly Craig Mitchell; his sisters, Doris Ferguson Mason (Doug) and Diane Ferguson Nabors (Roy); his grandchild Bradlee Caroline Moon (Cole); and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth, Lynn Bridges and Carol Garrison (Rodney).
