With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Floy Sloan (Greer, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 18, 2024. She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Sloan; her parents, Tommy Forrester and Lillie Campbell Forrester; her daughter Elaine Craig; and her siblings, Ralph Forrester, Cecil Forrester, Quain Forrester, Ina Kemp, Edith Seay Arms, Effie Stewart and Ruth Ellen F. Clayton.
She is survived by: her daughter Donna; her son-in-law Kenneth Southerlin of Taylors; her son Benny; her daughter-in-law Angie Sloan of Greer; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Craig (Angela), Christy Pitts (Clyde), Kenneth Southerlin, Jr. (Stephanie), Corrie Healy (Dave), David Craig (Kim), Krystal White (John), Preston Sloan (Brittany) and Timothy Craig (Ciera). She is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
