She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Hill and Lillie Hill of Raven Virginia; her siblings, Winfred Hill (Went), Olbert Hill, Terry Hill (Slick), Robert Hill (Reese) and Rosie Prater; and her daughter Rose Marie Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Terry Dye; her children, Thomas Cordle (Princess) of Greer, Donald Cordle (Judy) of Woodruff, Lillie Meadows (Buddy) of Wytheville, VA, Sharon Blanton of Taylors, Mary Lawson of Abingdon, VA and April Lowe (Jerald) of Woodruff; and her brother Alfred Hill of Richlands, VA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Greer Freewill Baptist Church (110 Pine Ridge Dr, Greer, SC 29651).
