She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey M. Emory and Ethel Mae Emory; her husband Richard Scruggs; and the father of her children Howard Leroy Cox. She is survived by: her children, Gloria J. Adams, Martha L. Glenn, Howard Ray "Chuck" Cox (Marlene) and Beverly Pharr; and her grandchildren, Rhonda R. Weeks, Lori A. Frost, Cindi Knighton, Timmy Glenn, Michelle Desilva, Wendy Wofford, Billy Cox, Amy Wheeler and Adam Pharr. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and 12 great, great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Living Waters Funeral Home & Crematory (529 Spartanburg Hwy, Wellford, SC 29385).
