She was predeceased by: her parents, Fielding E. George and Onie Atkins George; and her siblings, Kathleen G. Nix, Ralph C. and Andrew J. George.

She is survived by: her sister Joanne G. Hinson of Greer; and her nieces and nephews, Debbie Fowler (Clyde) of Greenville, Dawn Arnold of Piedmont, Ann Hinson of Taylors and Jan Bledsoe (Martin) of Greer.
