It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emma Wood Hester (Greer, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Robert E. Hester, Jr.; her son Barry Hester (Jaime) of Greer; her stepchildren, Tracy, Kelly and Shane; her grandchildren, Melanie Hester, Carmen Anthony (Dominic), Brandon Hall and Megan Hall; and her caregiver Debra Arnold. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
