She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Wayne Penland; and her parents, Guy Lee and Minnie Etta Plemmons Hawkins. She is survived by: her sons, Niles Penland and Eric Penland; her sister Judy H. Cramer (Ralph); her grandsons, Zachery Penland (Nikki) and Matthew Bullman (Tiffany); and her great grandchildren, Andromeda Penland, Teagan Penland, Piper Penland, Konnor Bullman, Khloe Bullman and Aspen Marie Penland.
