Eli Cantrell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Eli Cantrell (Greer, South Carolina), born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Erleene Ridings Cantrell; his parents, Thomas Austin and Ola Kimbrell Cantrell; and his siblings, Tom Cantrell, Harold Cantrell and Vertie Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Cantrell of Lyman, Doris G. Sorton (David) of Lyman and Denise Boyter (Richard) of Inman; his siblings, Edward Cantrell of Wellford and Ruby McElvey of Inman; and his grandchildren, Hannah Boyter, Brooke Boyter, Aubree Sorton, Haily Gravitt, Jason Cantrell and Adam Cantrell. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wood Mortuary, Inc. (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wood Mortuary Chapel (300 W Poinsett St, Greer, SC 29650).
