She was predeceased by: her husband John Graham Copeland; her parents, Ernestine Compton Foster and Albert Anderson Foster; and her siblings, Hortense Smith, Thalia Perry and Larry Foster.
She is survived by: her children, Melanie and William Shaner of New London Township, PA; her grandchildren, Brent and Stephanie Dobbins; her great grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, Anna and Laurel Dobbins of Fort Worth, TX; and her siblings, Obelia Tucker of Greer, SC. and Pines.
