He is survived by: his wife Ann Jackson; his daughter Jennifer Jackson Russell (Philip Russell) of Mount Pleasant, SC; his siblings, Earl Jackson of Ontario, Canada, Jeanette Chapman of Simpsonville, SC and Gaynell Mayfield of Greer, SC; and his grandchildren, Russell "Russ" Hilliard and Jackson "Jack" Hilliard (Clemson).
