He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Nixon and Lillian Nixon (Smith); his wife Nancy; and his sister Joyce Bogdanski. He is survived by: his children, David Nixon (Beth) of Warsaw and Mary Kay Herrera (Marko) of Greer; his grandchildren, Ryan Nixon (Brandi), Haylee Nixon, Lindy Klein (Devin), Alexandra Herrera Rutland (Drew) and Maggie Herrera; and his great grandchildren, Dezlynn Atwood, Darian Atwood, Blaze Klein, Teigen Klein, Brinlee Nixon and Bracken Klein.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fischer Funeral Home (412 Main St, Warsaw, OH 43844). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
