He was predeceased by: his father Raymond; and his sister Sharon Chandler. He is survived by: his wife Beverly "Bev" Jones Leonard; his daughters, Melissa "Missy" Leonard Owens and Lyndsey Leonard Bican; and his grandchildren, Aurora Bican and Ariella Bican.
