As we bid adieu to David's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration David has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. and Helen Wingett King; and his sister Linda K. Stafford. He is survived by: his wife Sherry L. King; his daughter Rebecca L. Saliba (Shawn) of Moore; his brother William H. King (Lil) of Lyman; and his grandchildren, Harper Jean and Stella Kay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lee Road Baptist Church (1503 E Lee Rd, Taylors, SC 29687).
