He is survived by: his wife Delores Waters Reed of Clemson; his daughter Meredith Reed of Birmingham, Alabama; his brother Ted Reed (Mary Martha) of Durham; and his nephews, Shannon Reed (Michelle) and Stephen Reed (Julie). He is also survived by three great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
