He is survived by: his children, Columbus M. Meredith, Jr. and Shaneka Christine; and his siblings, Elbert Meredith, Jr., Audrey Scott, Lillian Oree Vernon, Emma Jones, Beatrice Pyles and Jearline Jones. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
