He is survived by: his wife Diana Kincaid Pitman; his children, Mark (Casey Whitesides), Christy Gaffney, Brandon (Jessie Whitaker), Emily (Steve Pawlak), Justice (Caitlin Pitman) and Jason Gaffney; his grandchildren, Clara, Jenna, Jackson, Collin Gaffney, Cedar, Junie, Birch, Hazel Whitaker, Patricia, John Hegedus, Nikki, Brandon Hall and Wyatt Whitesides; his great grandchildren, Kaylum, Emerson, Daniel and Allie; and his pet Rusty.
