Though Carolyn may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her husband William Kenneth Brown; and her parents, William Ennise and Irene Anderson Sloan. She is survived by: her children, Susan Brown Wheeler of Greer and Michael David Brown (Mindy) of Greer; and her grandchildren, Kristina Halsall (Jason), Joshua Davis, Brittany Eubanks (Joseph), Joseph Wheeler (April), William Andrew Wheeler (Hannah), Justin Brown (Miranda) and Jacob Brown. She is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
