He is survived by: his wife Hester Howard Burrell; his sons, Virgil Burrell (Terese) of Duncan and Tim Burrell (Tammy) of Taylors; and his grandchildren, Leslie Burrell, Jennifer Taylor and Austin Burrell. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
