She was predeceased by: her father Grady B. Ashmore; her daughter Patti Boyter Cato; and her siblings, Fred, Jimmy Ashmore, Joyce Smith, Mary Floyd and Vicki Ashmore.

She is survived by: her siblings, Rudy Ashmore of Greer and Marlene; and her brother-in-law Marion McCuen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
