She was predeceased by: her husband Joel Thomas Olson; her parents, Vernon Floyd and Lila Susan Neimi Stauffeneker; her sons, Todd Michael Olson, Joel T. Olson, Jr., Rudy Joel Olson and Oscar J. Olson; and her sister Sheila Sauvola.
She is survived by: her children, Tamara Olson Taylor of Chesapeake, Melissa A. Myers (Glen) of Lyman, Aune E. Gibbs (Harry) of Greer, Alena J. Cox (Eddie) of Spartanburg, Heather M. Kinnunen (Travis) of Inman, Hilary L. Olson of West Columbia, Otto Edward Olson (Diana) of Wasilla, Levi J. Olson of Lyman and Oliver L. Olson of Derry; and her siblings, Vernon "Skeet" Stauffeneker, Jr. (Kathy) of Rindge, Pete Stauffeneker of Lyman, Linda Coleman of Spartanburg, Eileen E. Seppala (Arnold) of Lyman, Janice Parkkonen (Juha) of Lyman and Amy Troxel (Jimmy) of Inman. She is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
