He is survived by: his grandchildren, William Tyler Buzhardt (Sarah), Austin Dean Rodgers (Ettele Toole) and Morgan Thalia McKittrick; and also, Gwendolyn Briar Buzhardt, Daphne Mae Buzhardt and Tatum Nash Buzhardt.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
