She was predeceased by: her parents, Buck Alverson and Helen Martin Alverson; and her siblings, Tammy Bundrick and Jerry Alverson. She is survived by: her husband John Rice; her sons, Harold, Marty and Spencer Karter; her brother Randy Spencer (Pam); her granddaughters, Haven and Katelyn Karter; and her great grandchild Drew Boswell (JW).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29646). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
