He was predeceased by: his parents, George T. Watson and Lillius Elizabeth Vaughn Watson; and his brother Tom Watson. He is survived by: his son W. Vaughn Watson, Jr. of Atlanta; and his grandchildren, Lindsay P. Dorris (Will), Rachel P. Powell (Sam) and Hayley P. Anderson (Josh).
