He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Terry Adkins, Sr. and Rachel Knight Adkins. He is survived by: his wife Kit Gardner Adkins; his son Thomas Terry "Tom" Adkins, III (Sara); his grandchildren, Lily, Ella, Caroline, Maggie and Lucas; his brother Edward Scott Adkins (Brenda); his sister-in-law Suzy Gardner Farrar; his nieces, Willa Kate Farrar and Jenna Ferrer (Jon); his nephew Jason Adkins; and his great-nephew Banks Ferrer.
