He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd F. Russell and Edna Stewart Russell. He is survived by: his wife Dottie; his sons, John Russell (Kimberly) of Greenwood, SC, Carter Russell (Sandra) of Alexandria, VA and Thomas Russell (Victoria) of Beaverdam, VA; and his grandchildren, Whittaker (Liz), Dorothy Anna, Peter, Jana, Daniel and Henry.
