With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ruth Stoudemire of Greenwood, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Reese and Pearl Berley Reese; and her siblings, Elizabeth Reese, Mary Felder, Marion Spearman, Nancy Bowers, Gussie Raines and John A. Reese.
She is survived by: her husband Bobby Joe Stoudemire; her daughter Cindy Kayla (Dan) of Ninety Six; her sisters, Virginia Porter (Wayne) of Pembroke, GA, Peggy Longshore (Larry) of Pomaria and Carolyn Lancaster of Newberry; her granddaughter Carla Hughes; and her great grandchild Cason Hughes.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul United Methodist Church (301 Cambridge St N, Ninety Six, SC 29666). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Newberry Memorial Gardens (15127 C R Koon Hwy, Newberry, SC 29108).
