She is survived by: her daughters, Lisha Walker (Vermond Jr.) of Douglasville, GA and Toi Lay (Kenneth) of Jacksonville, FL; her stepdaughter Annelenne Wageman (Heinz) of Warburg, Germany; her grandchildren, Vermond Walker III of Douglasville, GA, Alexa Rose Walker of Astoria, NY, Tylen Corbertt Walker of Nashville, TN, Carl Jasper Wageman of Cologne and Lovis Wageman of Warburg, Germany; and her cousins, Genell Edney Graham of Aiken, SC and Rodney Bass of Stamford, CT.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Percival - Tompkins Chapel (330 Magnolia Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646). The lying in state was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Tabernacle Baptist Church (424 Baptist Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Jessamine Memorial Gardens (625 Allison St, Aiken, SC 29801).
