He is survived by: his sons, Robert J. May, Jr. (Ann Anderson May) of Columbia and David Y. May (Kathryn Crosby May) of Greenwood; his grandchildren, Bryan May (Amy) of Lexington, Jonathan May (Torri Gamble) and Kathryn LaForge (Jay); his great grandchildren, Ellie, Kate, Sara Gates and Anderson; and his nieces and nephews, James Carl May, Jr. (Jimmy) of Ninety Six, Hanes Roger Williams, Leland Lollis Williams of Florida, Betty Jean May of Clinton, Deborah May Johnston of Barnesville, Georgia and Monty Williams Richardson of Greenwood.
