With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard L. DeTreville of Greenwood, South Carolina, born in Raleigh, North Carolina, who passed away on July 27, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Richard is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Richard's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his mother Marie DeTreville; and his grandson Rivers DeTreville. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Harris DeTreville; his sons, Lindsey DeTreville (Julianna Smith) of Greenwood and Bill Detreville (April) of Greenwood; and his grandchildren, Riley, Rich (Christina), Will, Mary Brannen and Olivia.
