She is survived by: her husband Harry Garrett; her daughter Kristi Garrett Mehalso (Jim); her granddaughter Chloe Elizabeth Hatcher; her sisters, Shirley Smith McDowell and Elaine Smith Clinkscales; and her siblings-in-law, Fred Clinkscales, Carmen "Zory" Smith and Martha Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
