He was predeceased by: his parents, Angela Bell Dorn and Dennis Waters (Rynda); and his grandparents, Charles, Willa Lee Waters, Jones and Ruby Bell.
He is survived by: his wife Christie Waters; his children, Michael Waters Jr. (Maddie), Katelyn Waters, Dakota Waters and Mason Gaines; his grandson Cole Waters; his pet Faith (Lil Bit); his sister Megan Kennemore (Matt); his nephews, Cruze Kennemore and Wylder Kennemore; his niece Chloe Kennemore; and his close friends, Jamie Owens and Mike Myers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harley Funeral Home & Crematory (1025 Main St S, Greenwood, SC 29646). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ninety SIX Pentecostal Holiness Church (206 State St, Ninety Six, SC 29666).
