She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh W. Teasley and Ruth Evans Teasley; and her granddaughter Jessica D. Upton. She is survived by: her husband Gary Thomas Upton; her children, Wallace Upton (Anna) of Greenwood, Gerald Upton (Tammy) of Greenwood, Thomas Upton (Noelle) of Greenwood and Margaret Upton of Greenwood; and her sisters, Cindy Smith and Denise Teasley. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; and seventeen great grandchildren.
