It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marty Alan Carter of Greenwood, South Carolina, who passed away on March 9, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Luther and Mary Grant Carter. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Burton Carter; his daughters, Meredith Evans (Spike) of Seneca, Anna Ross Stone (Clay) of Engima and Molly Abigail Rogers (Zach) of Seneca; his brother Gregory Luther Carter of Bennettsville; and his grandchildren, Cooper Talley, Clay Stone, Everly Stone, Silas Stone, Olivia Rogers, Myles Rogers and Mason Rogers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sandifer Funeral Home (512 E Main St, Westminster, SC 29693). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Heritage Memorial Gardens (4500 SC-11, Westminster, SC 29693).
