She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Kinard and Mamie Wims Kinard; her son Tony Higgins; and her siblings, Calvin Jr., James Isaiah, Moses Samuel Kinard, Alice Lucille Turner, Eula Beatrice Patterson and Lillie Mae Fisher.
She is survived by: her husband Heyward Higgins; her sisters, Iola K Crawford and Viola K Cannon (Clyde D. Cannon); her sisters-in-law, Juanita Kinard and Vonena Kinard; and her godchildren, Sanquinetta A Williams, Gerald Coates, Eric Coates and Aneres Carroll. She is also survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Percival - Tompkins Chapel (330 Magnolia Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Jacob's Chapel Baptist Church (324 Woodlawn Rd, Greenwood, SC 29646).
