She was predeceased by: her husband James C. "Jimmy" Self, Jr.; her parents, Furman Burton and Lovie Flanagan Coleman; and her daughter Elizabeth Self Wheeler. She is survived by: her pet Hayward Savage Edmunds; her sons, James C. "Jay" Self, III (Camala Hinkle) and Furman C. Self (Kay); her grandchildren, James C. Self, IV of San Francisco, CA, Furman Coleman Self, Jr. of Spartanburg, Kirby Elizabeth Self of Greenville, Mackley Garrison Self of Greenville and Joseph "Jace" Self of Greenwood; her great grandchild Harper Grace Mitchell of Greenwood; and her sister Ruth Coleman Ellerbe of Greenwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
