He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Dodgen and Emmie Sue Witt Dodgen; his siblings, Grover Dodgen and Elizabeth Rush; and his grandson Patrick Dodgen.

He is survived by: his children, Ray Dodgen (Becky), Phillip "Phil" Dodgen and Rena Allen (Tom); his grandchildren, Andy Allen (Jamie), Annie Latham (Mike) and Kevin Dodgen (Meagan); and his great grandchildren, Jered Robinson, Rylee Latham, Paul Dodgen, Bella Dodgen and Gray Dodgen.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
