It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Horace Rudolph Files (Greenwood, South Carolina), who passed away on July 13, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Plumer Files and Linne Chandler Files; his son Neville Files; and his brothers, Johnny, Amos and Bobby Files.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Brown (Mike) of Greenwood, Kimberly Robertson (Brian) of Greenwood, Jennifer Hosmer of Greer and Jeff Blum (Susan) of Seneca; his sister Betty Ray of Mississippi; and his daughter-in-law Charlotte Files of Florence. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lowell Street Methodist Church, 300 Lowell Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646.
