He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Tillman Bowie, Sr. and Mamie Hackett Bowie. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn M. Bowie; his children, Christopher Bowie of Greenwood, Bryan Bowie, Darcey Bowie of Greenwood and Alisha Jones of Edgefield; his brothers, Donald Bowie (Jessie Mae) of McCormick and John Gary Bowie of Promised Land; his grandchildren, Dashawn Bowie, X'zavier Bowie and Avondre Moton of Promised Land; and his aunts, Jessie Mae Hackett, Lillie Conner of Promised Land, Gugusta Booker of Atlanta, Georgia, Jessie Bowie of McCormick, Gloria Robinson, Linda McBride and Mona Bennett of Promised Land. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
