With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Thornton Odiorne Martin (Greenwood, South Carolina), born in Columbia, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 16, 2024 at the age of 75. She was predeceased by: her husband Theodore "Ted" Alexis Martin; her parents, Richard Langdon and Helen McFaddin Odiorne; and her brother Richard Odiorne. She is survived by: her children, Theodore Alexis "Ted" Martin, Jr. of Murrells Inlet and Virginia Martin "Ginny" Edwards (Nick) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Martin, Theodore Alexis Trey Martin, III, Savannah Rae Edwards, Haleigh Caroline Edwards and William Bennett Edwards; her siblings, Elizabeth Odiorne of Columbia and Walter Odiorne (Sarah Jane) of Blythewood; and her sister-in-law Karen Odiorne of Columbia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
