With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine Samstag of Greenwood, South Carolina, born in Brooklyn, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 4, 2024 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Samstang and Edith Victory Franklin Stricker. She is survived by: her sister Teddy Edith Trksak-Bishop of Union; her niece Melissa McFarland (Joseph) of Union; and her great-nephews, William Nicholas Trksak, III (Taylor) of Spartanburg, Shane Michael McFarland, Jr. (Cheyenne) of Gray Court and Gabrial Louis McFarland of Gray Court.
