He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Betsy M. McDowell; his parents, James O. McDowell and Kathleen Hipp McDowell; his son Jamie McDowell (Robyn) of Seneca; his sisters, Ann McFerrin of Seneca and Jean Langrehr of Greenwood; his stepson Scott Barnes (Crystal); and his stepgrandchildren, Brianna Collins, Hunter Barnes and Addison Barnes of McCormick.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (501 E Creswell Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
