She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Lafayette Ramsey; her parents, William Turner and Palmyra Saxon Ashley; and her siblings, Polly Scoggins, Lois Martin, Gertrude Ashley, Louise Able, Janice Reece, Agnes Ashley, Doris Davis, Marvin Ashley and Otis Ashley.
She is survived by: her son Russell Ashley "Rusty" Ramsey (Tara Penland Ramsey) of Greenwood; her grandchildren, Samuel "Sam" Reagan Ramsey and Caroline McCall Ramsey of Greenwood; and her caregiver Miss Lillie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Laurel Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
