She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Clark "Dick" Floyd, Jr.; her parents, Garland Messer and Emma Lunsford Messer; her daughter Debbie Kemp; and her son-in-law Phillip Kemp.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Michael Kemp (Jessica), Jennifer Turner (Matt Gann), Leslie Dobbins and Clayton Vickery; and her great grandchildren, Jackson G. Kemp, Zoé Turner, Maddi-Jaymes Kemp and Zaine Turner.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Coronaca Baptist Church (300 SC-246, Greenwood, SC 29649). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
